The colour theme ran its course in deciding the decor of the study as well. Warm and energetic, it is done up in tones of plush red, and is in contrast to the minimalism of the bedroom or the poshness of the living room.
"A study is a place of work. It is a place where you ideate and are most alive mentally. There has to be high energy and a good deal of warmth in the place. I chose red as the colour theme for precisely that reason," says Mandira.
