What: The National Law School of India University, Bangalore, invites applications for admission to its BA LLB (Honours) and LLM programmes.

About LLM

~ It is a two-year post-graduate degree programme with four semesters. 

~ Areas of specialisation:

  • Business Laws
  • Human Rights Laws

Are you eligible?

For BA LLB (Honours)

~ You must have completed your Class XII or its equivalent with a minimum overall aggregate of 50 percent.

~ You should be below 20 years of age as on July 1, 2007.

For LLM 

~ You must have a minimum overall aggregate of 50 percent in BL/ LLB/ BA LLB (Honours) examination. 

~ You could be a final year student awaiting your results.

Selection method

~ You will be selected on the basis of your performance in the All India Admission Test.

Entrance test preparation

~ For BA LLB: Obtain copies of the last 19 years' test papers in a volume by sending a demand draft for Rs 760, inclusive of postage, in favour of Registrar, National Law School of India University, payable at Bangalore. 
Note: The format and structure of entrance examination may vary from that of previous years.

~ For LLM: Obtain copies of the last eight years' test papers by sending a demand draft for Rs 480 inclusive of postage. 

Important dates

~ Applications will be issued from January 10. 

~ Please send in your completed application form before March 31.

~ The All India Admission Test will be held on May 6.

How to apply

~ Obtain the application and prospectus by writing to The Registrar, NLSIU (write in bold) giving your full address, pincode and the course name.

~ Your application must be accompanied by a bank draft for Rs 1,000 payable to the Registrar, NLSIU at Bangalore. 

~ Application forms are also available at designated Corporation Banks.
