Motorazr V3i
"Sleek and skinny" is how 26-year-old Deven Arora, a marketing executive, refers to his Motorazr V3i. This phone seems to have caught the fancy of the celebs and commoners alike.
Glamorous looks -- that's what this phone is all about. The Motorazr boasts of an internal as well as external display, which makes it quite suave. The camera has 4X digital zoom; auto finish, and self-portrait. Anodized aluminum silver, ritzy black and hot pink -- a la Paris Hilton -- are the various colours this phone is available in. It has a picture phone book, quad band (used for operating GSM frequency bands), a 2.2-inch colour display and a 22 KHz speaker -- even better quality than the Motoslvr range. And it weighs just only 95 grams!
Pros: The picture phonebook is quite helpful when it comes to sorting out contacts in a hurry, and can store upto 750 entries. Coupled with I-tunes software, this phone can also double up as your personal music player. Surfing the Internet can be fun on this phone, thanks to the large screen display. Java enabled games are a pleasure to play with the feather-touch keypad. The screen layout has been made interesting with the facility of in-built themes. The camera is pretty good and has different modes.
Cons: Again, poor battery life is a major drawback of the Motorazr. "Parts are so difficult to find that I am still carrying a damaged phone", complains Rekha Tejwani, a software consultant. The images look good only on the phone, and not exactly pretty on the computer screen. The price is also slightly high at Rs 8,500.
