'Young Environmental Journalist' award

What: CMS VATAVARAN 2007, India's competitive environment and wildlife film festival, invites entries in its newly introduced award category -- 'FEJI Young Environmental Journalist'.

Details

~ The festival is slated for September 12-16 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

~ In collaboration with Forum for Young Environmental Journalists of India (FEJI), the award carries cash awards of Rs 25,000 each for print and television journalists.

Are you eligible? 

~ This award is for excellence in environmental journalism and will be given to an individual who has done exemplary investigative and inspired reporting.

~ This will be country-wide recognition of two journalists under 30 years old who have made a significant contribution in either the print or electronic media to an understanding of the nation's environmental problems.

How to apply?

~ You can send in your entries with a one-page CV and copies of at least three articles or DVDs of telecasts dated later than January 1, 2006 onwards. If the articles or telecasts are in languages other than English, then do send a synopsis of each entry in English.
