More fun stuff at Fashion Week, especially for brides-to-be.
Professional make-up and hair expert Doris Godhambe, who has worked with all top actresses in Bollywood, showcased a hot new hairstyle that could inspire brides-to-be.
The look: A clump of bangs brushed to one side of the face, a few on the other side, a bouffant with big ruffled curls tumbling down all the way below the waist.
Doris Godhambe's muse for the look was actress Riya Sen.
First, she wrapped the bangs around a big Velcro roller perched on the front of Riya's head, after spraying on some product. After five minutes, it was removed and she arranged the bangs to frame the face perfectly.
Next, she resurrected the bouffant, a style popular in old Bollywood that involved piling up the main body of the hair at the back of the head. This was done using a comb, some hair spray and bobby pins. The bouffant was not too high, or it could have proved heavy for brides who have a long day ahead of them.
Finally, Doris attached some false hair; two pieces of big ruffled curls that tumble all the way below the waist. This was arranged on one side only.
Doris does not advocate using too much hair product, but she did use some hair spray to keep the tresses in place. She recommends you wash your hair three times a week and use good products.
