For Assistant Apparel Designers
~ You must have a diploma in Fashion/ Apparel Design from a reputed design institute like NIFT/ NID/ SNDT/ Sophia's etc.
~ You can be a fresher.
~ You can also ahve one to three years of work experience working in the apparel industry as a designer.
~ You should be able to put together a designer wear collection, right from mood boards, materials, sketches, sourcing fabrics and trims, to sampling which would involve stitching and draping, along with merchandising, pricing and costing of samples and the final collection.
