What: Red Hat India invites applications for the Red Hat Scholarships 2006-2007.
Details
~ The Red Hat Scholarship invites students from across the country to submit a project developed completely using open source technology to win scholarships worth Rs 10 lakh (Rs 1 million).
~ The competition will be conducted by Red Hat jointly with the Kanwal Rekhi School of Information Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay.

Who can participate?
~ BE/ B Tech/ B Sc (IT/ Computer Science)/ BCA/ MCA/ MSc (IT/ Computer Science)/ MBA (Systems/ IT)/ MCM/ M Tech students from universities of India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan can participate.
~ Participants can be individuals or a team of maximum five students per team.
