What: Aneela Dias and Rekha Goyal, ceramic artists from the Sir J J School of Art, are organising an introductory workshop to the art of clay modelling.
When: January 28
Time: 10 am to 4 pm (inclusive of a one-hour lunch break)
Where: Vashi, Navi Mumbai
Workshop details
~ You will be introduced to the basic methods of working in clay, which include:
- Coil
- Slab
- Pinching and throwing (working on the potter's wheel)
~ Please carry your aprons.
Fee
~ You need to pay Rs 950 when you arrive for the workshop
~ Your fee includes clay and tools needed for the workshop and the firing of the pieces you make. The firing would be done a few days later. After the pieces are completely dry, you will have to collect them from the studio.
