Molten Chocolate Pot
There's nothing more sensuous than feeding (or being fed) chocolate to the one you love. Savour that creamy texture.
Serves 4
~Ingredients
100 gm semi-dark chocolate
50 ml double cream
15 ml dark rum
8 pieces sliced cake (prepared)
400 gm fruit (strawberries, gooseberries, bananas, apple, etc)
10-12 pieces of chocolate wafer fingers (prepared)
8-10 pieces cookies (prepared)
~Method
Cut the chocolate roughly into small pieces.
Gently bring the cream to a boil and take it off the heat.
Add the chocolate pieces and stir till all the chocolate has melted.
Add the rum and keep warm.
Place the molten chocolate in a bowl or a fondue pot and mount it over the warmer. You can by a warmer at any kitchenware store for approximately Rs 1,400. It consists of a burner, pot with a lid and some metal or wooden skewers.
You could also do without the pot and have the molten chocolate quickly before it starts to set.
Surround the molten chocolate with the fruits, cake, cookies, etc.
Now, all you need to do is dip the accompaniments in chocolate and serve each other.
