If showing up for courses in the land where The Lord of the Rings was filmed sounds exciting, this one's for you.

New Zealand Education Fair 2006 is ready to welcome students from India, starting with interested candidates from Mumbai. Showcasing the best of New Zealand education, the fair will be held in Mumbai on September 1, 2006 at Hotel Taj Lands End from 11.00 am to 5.00pm. Representatives from over 20 educational institutions across New Zealand will be present to counsel parents and students aspiring to study in New Zealand. There will also be a series of informative seminars on studying and obtaining student visas.

Thanks to its high educational standards and healthy environment, New Zealand is fast emerging as an educational hub for higher studies. According to Graeme Waters, New Zealand's High Commissioner to India, "There is a huge demand for skilled workforce in New Zealand and a lot of Indians are currently contributing to the burgeoning economy."

After Mumbai, the Fair moves to six other Indian cities:

. In Bangalore: September 4

. In Hyderabad: September 6

. In Chennai: September 7

. In Delhi: September 9 and 10

. In Chandigarh: September 12

. In Kolkata: September 14

Institutions in New Zealand offer courses on everything from Business Studies and Engineering, to IT & Computing, Food & Dairy Technology, Plant Science and Horticulture, Hospitality & Hotel Management, Nursing, Viticulture, Forestry, Sports Management and more. There will be expert counsellors at the fair to answer any queries you may have.
