What: The National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai, invites media professionals, industry delegates, entrepreneurs and students to attend Media Summit 2005, a panel discussion on contemporary topics being deliberated by delegates from the media.

The event is organised by students pursuing their Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management.

When: September 9 
Where: NITIE campus, Mumbai 
Time: 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Event highlights

~ The theme is: Disaster Management: Roles and Responsibilities of the Fourth Estate.  

~ The following people will be present on the panel:

  • Rajiv Kumar Bajaj, VP, Sahara Samay
  • P Menon, Chief News Bureau, The Week
  • Tamal Bandyopadhyay, Deputy Resident Editor, Business Standard
  • Amrita Shah, Media analyst and Senior Columnist, Indian Express
  • Shyama Kulkarni, Ward Coordinator of NGO AGNI will be the moderator for the panel discussion 

~ The session shall begin with an introduction to the topic by the moderator, followed by a panel discussion for about an hour.

~ There will be an open house session when the audience can interact with the panelists.
