What: The National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai, invites media professionals, industry delegates, entrepreneurs and students to attend Media Summit 2005, a panel discussion on contemporary topics being deliberated by delegates from the media.
The event is organised by students pursuing their Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management.

~ The theme is: Disaster Management: Roles and Responsibilities of the Fourth Estate.
~ The following people will be present on the panel:

- Tamal Bandyopadhyay, Deputy Resident Editor, Business Standard
- Amrita Shah, Media analyst and Senior Columnist, Indian Express
- Shyama Kulkarni, Ward Coordinator of NGO AGNI will be the moderator for the panel discussion
~ The session shall begin with an introduction to the topic by the moderator, followed by a panel discussion for about an hour.
~ There will be an open house session when the audience can interact with the panelists.
