Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra (30GB)

Another Creative product -– and no, they’re not paying us to do this. It's the value for money that draws us to its players. And, if you think we’re lying, ask any Nomad user for a second opinion.

The Jukebox Zen Xtra is a lot like the earlier Zen NX, with the exception of a slightly wider screen. Its popularity stems, in part, from the lower cost compared to the iPod, and, for 30 GB, this is as good as it gets for its price.

The player also has better file-transfer capabilities than ever before, which means the company has probably been looking into its 'suggestions' box quite seriously. It's also USB 2.0 and 1.1 compatible, so those with older PCs needn't worry.

The only thing that doesn't quite make sense is why Creative left out the FM and recording abilities, considering some of its smaller products have them. Still, one can't have everything...
