What: The Indira Gandhi National Open University invites applications for its Appreciation Course on Environment.
Details
~ ACE has been developed in collaboration with the ministry of environment and forests, Government of India, as a non-credit awareness course.
~ The objectives of this course are to:
- Disseminate information on national and international environmental issues.
- Create environmental consciousness so that corrective environmental action could be encouraged.
- Facilitate development of environmental leadership among individuals who may organise/ participate in environment upgradation programmes.
~ Duration: Three months
~ Medium of instruction: English
~ Fee: Rs 600
Are you eligible?
~ You must be a graduate or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.
How to apply
~ Obtain the student handbook and prospectus from the IGNOU offices on payment of Rs 30.
~ You may also obtain the forms via post, by sending a demand draft of Rs 80 drawn in the favour of IGNOU, payable at the city of the regional and sub-regional centres.
