Yes, I'm going to direct a film. As of now, we have not decided which one to make. We are trying to relax and regain energy. If we do Arundhati in Hindi, we'd have to re-do it. We are taking time to do it.

There are rumours about Yash Chopra buying rights of Arundhati...

They are not rumours. In fact offers have come from Yash Chopra, Priyadarshan, Boney Kapoor and UTV. We are yet to decide on the future.

Do you want to juggle direction along with visual effects supervision? Will you get so much time if you are involved in direction?

I will be utilising my knowledge of visual effects in film direction. I am hoping to shock people with a never-to-be seen visual treat.

You had set up Firefly for Visual Special Effects...

I had set it up in 2001 along with four friends. We worked on Anji and Godavari. Our aspirations have to match. There were some differences of opinion in terms of approaches but we parted happily. There is no ill will. I am still a director with Firefly.

I have formed my own company Ticklebug Creative Studio while I was shooting Arundhati. I am happy this company would be able to fulfill my dreams and requirements and also that of filmmakers who want to do stunning work in the field of visual effects. It will be a creative hub.
