Amitabh Bachchan, wife Jaya, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya made a trip to Mumbai's famed Siddhivinayak temple in the early hours of Tuesday. They walked barefoot all the way from their Juhu bungalow to the temple located nearly 15 km away. The security followed them.
The stars spent about 20 minutes inside the temple.
The Bachchans' tryst with religious places in India is well known, as they have travelled to various temples and dargahs together.
The family will leave for Bangkok for the IIFA awards in the first week of June, where their latest film, Sarkar Raj, will be premiered.
After that, they will leave for their world tour, which kicks off on July 18.
