We have seen scores of dancers accompanying the lead jodi in Bollywood's song and dance sequences. But the Kareena Kapoor-Shahid Kapur starrer Jab We Met seems to beat all records.
The song, Yeh ishq, boasts of 180 dancers, coming together from different parts of Himachal Pradesh.
"We had local troupes from Tibet, Chamba, Bilaspur, Kinnor, Dharamshala, Hamirpur and Kullu," says director Imtiaz Ali.
The song has been choreographed by Saroj Khan in the beautiful town of Manali in Himachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the pretty girl dancing with Kareena in the film's promos is none other than Saumya Tandon, the star of the Star Plus soap, Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayee Roshni.
Saumya, who plays Ria in the television serial, is essaying the role of Kareena's sister, and sports a 'no makeup look' in the film.
