Besides Pitt, Warner Bros' $180 million exercise in grandeur also features Orlando Bloom (Paris, Prince of Troy), Eric Bana (Prince Hector) and Sean Bean (Odysseus) in key roles.

In comparison to Pitt, who achieved international stardom in the mid-1990s with films like The Interview with the Vampire, Legends of the Fall and Seven, his co-stars Bloom, Bana and Bean are newbies on the block.

While Bana's claim to fame is The Hulk, Bloom (as Legolas) and Bean (as Boromir) formed a fellowship in the Oscar-winning The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
