Just when the audience was getting fed up of watching mindless action, came Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. What made this contemporary version of Romeo And Juliet enjoyable was its all-new cast. Nor can one forget Aamir Khan’s boyishness, Juhi Chawla’s girl-next-door appeal and their adorable screen chemistry.

The film was a trendsetter. After QSQT, there were a series of films showing warring Thakurs and their respective kids falling in love. But none could match the innocent charm of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
