Shweta and her father, her mother says, have the same temperament. Like her pa, Shweta is reserved, poised, withdrawn.

For Abhishek, Amitabh has always been his best friend, someone to confide in. As a kid he only watched his father's films. He thought his mother's films were sedate and rather depressing.

One of the happiest moments in Amitabh's life was Shweta married Nikhil Nanda, Raj Kapoor's grandson and son of Ritu and Escorts Chairman Rajan Nanda.
