Bhagat Singh's family issues notice The Hindi cinema is witnessing a sudden trend of films made on the real life incidents of martyr Bhagat Singh who sacrificed his life for the freedom of India from the British rule. Bhagat Singh's brother issued a legal notice stating that to produce a film on the martyr, it must keep in tune with the actual incidents and once complete, the family's approval must be obtained before the release. His brother looks after Bhagat Singh's trust and museum. Currently, there are four films that are being made on the late Bhagat Singh.
Tusshar in Farida Jalal's production
Veteran actress Farida Jalal is turning producer with Yeh Dil Maange More, to be directed by Anant Mahadevan. The film that has used the tag line of a well-known cola as the title is about three girls trying to impress a boy. Though the actresses have not been finalised, Jalal has signed Tusshar Kapoor in the lead.
Kundan Shah's Kasam Se renamed
Director Kundan Shah has changed the name of his film Kasam Se to Ek Se Badhkar Ek. The much-delayed film will not have any other changes apart from the name. The comedy stars Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Isha Koppikar and marks the comeback of actor Shekhar Suman on the big screen.
