Controversy rocks Devdas again!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas faces a controversy... yet again!

The set designer Nitin Desai was held in suspicion because a prominent newspaper stated that Desai's assistant Akolkar, had actually designed it. However, Desai clarified that Akolkar is just one of his 60 assistants and that the sets were entirely designed by Desai himself.

Previously, the film created news due to financier Bharat Shah's arrest and death of a crew member on the sets.

Sanjay Dutt steps out of Partho Ghosh film

Sanjay Dutt has stepped out of Partho Ghosh's film, reportedly, due to prior commitments.

The film, whose title is yet to be disclosed, will now star Milind Soman.

Nair to direct film on September 11 attack

Mira Nair

Acclaimed director Mira Nair will direct a short film based on the September 11 attack on the World Trade Centre, New York.

Nair is one of ten directors approached for the project, which will star Tanvi Azmi. Azmi plays a Pakistani mother who has to come to terms with the general feeling of anger toward the Muslim community after the attacks.

The film, to be shot in New York, is dedicated to late lyricist Kaifi Azmi. It will be released on 11 September 2002.
