AB launches Swiss watches

Amitabh Bachchan will be Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil's latest brand ambassador.

The star will launch Weil's products in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore in June 2002.

Reportedly, Bachchan will be paid approximately Rs 200 million for an annual contract. Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Lisa Ray were ambassadors for this brand.

Hema Malini turns scriptwriter

Hema Malini is repotedly writing a script for a film, yet untitled, which may star her daughter Esha.

The veteran revealed this information during in the promotion of Esha's upcoming release Na Tum Jaano Na Hum in Kolkata.

Manjrekar's secret

It's finally out! Mahesh Manjrekar's Pyar Kiya Nahin Jata, starring Sonali Bendre and Diwakar Pundir, also stars a third actor, whose identity was kept a secret.

Well, it is none other than MTV Veejay Nikhil Chinappa.

This is Nikhil's second film, his debut being Sunhil Sippy's Snip.
