Hrithik accepts failure
Hrithik Roshan maybe down after the failure of his last release Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage. But the star certainly isn't out. "The film got what it deserved at the BO. As far as I'm concerned I gave my 100 per cent to the film. If the film failed, I must take equal blame. I'm as responsible as anyone else associated with the film. The whole myth that a star guarantees a big hit isn't true." Abhigyan Prakash, journalist and newsreader for Star News is all set to do a cameo in Chandni Bar director Madhur Bhandarkar’s latest offering Satta. Abhigyan isn’t the first journalist to achieve this feat. Popular TV anchors Vir Sanghvi ( in Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai) and Rajat Sharma ( in Kurukshetra ) have appeared in cameo roles before. Bhandarkar feels that, casting a real journalist lends an element of authenticity to the film.
Phalke centenary celebrated on April 30 Film City, Mumbai saw a brigade of politicians including CM Vilasrao Deshmukh, and Deputy CM Chhagan Bhujbal on April 30th to celebrate Dada Saheb Phalke’s 133rd anniversary which was celebrated by the Dada Saheb Phalke Academy. Veterans from various departments of cinema were honoured on this occasion.
