Shah Rukh and Saif in Karan Johar's next?

Shah Rukh Karan Johar's next venture will be directed by Nikhil Advani.

While the lead role is played by Shah Rukh Khan, the rest of the cast is not known.

Apparently, Karan wanted Kajol to play the female lead, but she refused outright.

However, rumours are rife that Saif Ali Khan may bag the second lead role.

Company post-poned?

Urmila According to rumours, the release of the much-awaited Ajay Devgan-Manisha Koirala-Vivek Oberoi starrer Company has been post-poned from April 12 to April 19.

Apparently, director Ram Gopal Varma needed some time to include a last minute planned dance number by Urmila.

However, Ramu denies this rumour and claims that there is no delay in the release date.

Manoj to star in Indo-Canadian film

Manoj Bajpai Manoj Bajpai is playing the lead role in an Indo-Canadian venture called Indigo, directed by Toronto-based filmmaker Suresh Natrajan.

The female lead will be Canadian actress Sarah Polley.

The film is based on a true story of an American Mohini Attam dance student who falls in love with a Hindu priest.

Indigo will be shot in Toronto and Kerala. It will go on the floors in September 2002.

Oscar nominee Ben Kinsley becomes a knight

Ben Kingsley received his knighthood at Buckingham Palace on March 19.

After the ceremony, the 58-year-old actor had told the Queen that winning an Oscar 'pales into insignificance - this is insurmountable'.

The actor has been nominated for best supporting actor for his role in British film Sexy Beast. He won the best actor award at the 1983 Oscars for Gandhi.
