Gracy rejects Sunny's offer
Lagaan star Gracy Singh recently turned down Sunny Deol in his film on Bhagat Singh. Apparently Gracy felt the film offered her little scope to perform, which is why she politely declined the offer. We hear director Shyam Benegal who is also in talks with Gracy is likely to rope her in for his forthcoming film.
Aarzoo Gowitrikar to make Telugu debut Aditi Gowitrikar's little sister Aarzoo will soon make her Telugu film debut opposite Aakash in a film entitled Manasutho. The flick will be directed by newcomer Ravikumar Choudhary and the storyline, borrowed from the Mel Gibson starrer What women want tells of a man who can read other people's minds. Aarzoo was also in Priyadarshan's Malayalam film Kakkakuyil. Aakash, who got into films on the net by applying to Suhasini's site, made his debut in a Tamil film Rojavannam, which didn't do too well at the BO. -- Tulika

The Bachchan family is currently going through a personal crisis. Amitabh's father, poet Harivanshrai Bachchan, has been admitted to a hospital. The 95-year-old poet has been ailing for a while and is under observation, but his condition is said to be stable. Amitabh, has cancelled his shootings and is attending to his ailing father.
