Fardeen whoops it up

Fardeen Khan Fardeen Khan, who celebrates his birthday today, will launch his new film with Celina Jaitley called Shaadi.com in Mumbai to mark the occasion.

Produced by Feroz Khan and directed by Hansal Mehta, Shaadi.com will have Biddu and Raju Singh score the music.

Bollywood goes to Malaysia

The International Indian Films Awards will be held at Malaysia's Genting Highlands resort on April 6, 2002.

Hundreds of Bollywood film personalities are expected to attend the festivities at the resort.

Although Shah Rukh Khan will not be attending, superstar Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed his prescence at the awards. Last year's awards were held in Sun City, Africa.

Madhuri

Madhuri Dixit won't be playing matchmaker any more. The Delhi High Court has restrained Sony TV from launching its programme Shubh Vivah, which was to be anchored by the actress.

A media consultant, who had challenged Sony Television from airing the serial Shubh Vivah on grounds that it was developed on the idea disclosed by his company, has been given a green signal by the court to telecast his serial Swayamvar first on small screen within four months.
