At the launch of Anil Sharma's Hero

Sunny Deol

Anil Sharma very recently launched his next film starring Sunny Deol, Priyanka Chopra and Preity Zinta. Titled Hero -- Love Story Of A Spy, the film will go on the floors in March and is being produced by Time with a budget of Rs 300 million.

Sharma plans to shoot the film, with a plot akin to that of a James Bond film, on a grand scale. But he also says that unlike Bond who was an imaginary character, his protagonist is very real; "a man from military intelligence".

Sharma also clarified that Amisha's exit from the film was only because she had "date problems". Sharma is not upset about Gadar missing the bus to the Oscars. "Why should I send a film to the people who have been oppressors for years and beg the firangs to watch my film. The masses of India have awarded me by watching Gadar and making it a super success," he said.

Hero also stars Amrish Puri, Kabir Bedi, Rahul Dev, Shahbaaz Khan, Parvin Dabas and Khalid Mohamed.

Govinda misbehaves

Govinda

Govinda needs to do some real rethinking after the way his career has taken a down slide. Asking people not to call him Chi Chi became the biggest joke in tinsel-town. But our man cares a damn, he continues to do it. Govinda’s paranoia reached new limits at the latest Zee Cine Awards.

After committing to pay tribute to the Late Ashok Kumar, Govinda decided to back out at the last moment saying that he was running high temperature. Govinda even refused to take any calls from the organisers of the Award.
