Ajay Jadeja signs his second film

Reports are that Ajay Jadeja has already signed his second film that is to be produced and directed by Krishna Kumar.

Titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas, the film will focus on the bond between a grandmother and her grandson. To be shot in New Delhi and New Zealand the film will have Sushma Seth playing Jadeja’s grandmother.

Abbas Mastan drop Anu Malik

After their successful association with Anu Malik in films like Baazigar and the recent Ajnabee, Abbas Mastan have reportedly decided to sign Himesh Reshamiya for their film.

Himesh, who had shot to the limelight with Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya and Hello Brother, will compose the music for the director duo’s forthcoming film Humraaz.

Rajnikanth announces his next film

Rajnikanth has finally announced his next film. To be directed by Suresh Krishna, the film is titled Baba.

Suresh Krishna had earlier directed the Kamal Haasan starrer Abhay.

The rest of the cast has not been finalised yet, but if reports are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai maybe signed for the same.

Universal bags Badhaai Ho Badhaai

Universal Music has acquired the music rights of Satish Kaushik’s latest film Badhaai Ho Badhaai. The music, composed by Anu Malik with the lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar will be released on March 21.

The film is a musical family-entertainer, starring Anil Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty and Kirti Reddy.

Produced by Anil Kapoor, Satish Kaushik and Mansoor A Siddique it has cinematography by Rajiv Jain and art direction by Sharmishta Roy.
