Sonu Nigam ties the knot

Bollywood playback singer, Sonu Nigam tied the knot with long time sweetheart Madhurima Mishra on Friday in Kolkata.

The wedding was held at the gorgeously decorated Nalban boating complex in the outskirts of the city.

The 700-strong guest list featured Nigam's singer friends Abhijeet, Babul Supriyo, Sandeep Chowta, Anup Jalota, actress Shilpa Shetty and others.

Aamir Khan is thrilled with the kind-hearted gestures from others in the industry following the news that Lagaan has been nominated for an Oscar.

The latest present was a complete Oscar kit with Academy Award merchandise, mini film cameras and a large replica of the award Oscar award!

Anil Kapoor seems to have a lot of faith in the younger lot. He has recently given a go ahead to Hum Bhi Khush Tum Bhi Khush and Honey Irani's movie with Gracy Singh, the Lagaan lass.

Vikram Bhatt's new film has him opposite another young actress, Bipasha Basu. Anil is also doing a film with Priyanka Chopra who has still to have a single film released in the theatres.

Rikku to produce a film for son

Rakesh Nath, secretary to stars like Madhuri Dixit and Amisha Patel, turns producer with his first film will starring son Karan Nath in the lead.

To be directed by Anees Bazmi, the film will have Amisha Patel as the female lead.
