The two stars Asrani and Jagdeep will star in a television show as their characters from the film - Jailor Toap Singh and Soorma Bhopali. The serial is produced by the makers of the hit show Boogie Woogie. Snippets from MIFF This year's MIFF's retrospective section showcases the works of four famed filmmakers – Paul Bush from the United Kingdom, Jerzy Kucia and Krzystof Zanussi from Poland and R V Ramani from India. Chennai based short filmmaker and cinematographer R V Ramani's retrospective comprises a total of ten films, a majority of which are based on artists and art-based events including Face Like A Man, Blue Black Yellow and Heaven On Earth.
