Raaz -- First musical hit of 2002
Even the 05:00 hrs show went houseful at Raipur and Bhilai, they say. Its official, Raaz is the "first biggest musical hit of 2002".
Amisha Patel's mother has succumbed to the acting bug too. Director Suneel Darshan offered her a role in his film Mere Jeevan Saathi, starring Akshay Kumar and Karisma and we hear the lady accepted. Well, you know what they say -- Like daughter, like mother.
Rinke makes her mark Rinke Khanna's Tamil film opposite superstar Prashanth is faring well and the producer is keen to sign the actress for his next three projects. Rinke also has another bilingual project with Malayalam superstar Mammooty. Rinke is all set for a good innings in the south Indian film industry.
Monsoon Wedding in UK Top 10
Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding has finally made its way into the UK Top 10. Now in its fourth week, the film's weekend collections reduced by only 6% from last week, despite competition from several new Hollywood releases. With collections grossing over 971,301 pounds and a BAFTA nomination, the going just gets better for Monsoon Wedding.
