For a debut filmmaker, making a heist caper with a bunch of blind men and the diabolical planner played by Amitabh Bachchan, must have been tough.

Aankhen has its share of flaws. But on the whole it works, and it is different from the run-of-the-mill action movies which, by itself, is an achievement these days.
