Kajol inaugurates Subi Samuel's 2 The Soul

Actress Kajol inaugurated photographer Subi Samuel's exhibition 2 The Soul at the Regent Hotel in Mumbai.

The exhibition features a collection of photographs of some of Bollywood's most famous personalities including Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Govinda and Urmila Matondkar.

Seen at the exhibition last night were Madhuri Dixit, Aftab Shivdasani, Hema Malini with daughter Esha Deol, Rinke Khanna, Rahul Dev, newcomer John Abraham, Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea.

Tabu, who plays the lead actress in painter-filmmaker M F Husain's latest film has recently completed her first major shooting schedule on location in Rajasthan.

The film, described by Husain as a homage to Indian Cinema, will also have music for the film is composed by A R Rahman

Anil Kapoor to be honoured by UP Government

Actor-producer Anil Kapoor will be the recipient of this year's Awadh Samman for his contribution in the field of Art and Culture.

The Award presented by the UP Government includes a citation and a token amount of Rs 100000.

Manisha Koirala for UNICEF

Manisha Koirala is all set to do a documentary film on The Global Movement for Children which is sponsored by UNICEF.

She also plays the lead in a feature film to be directed by Shashilal Nair which she produces.
