Raveena: Nature's girl

Raveena Being a resident of Lokhandwala Complex, Mumbai, Raveena Tandon has volunteered to be a part of the Lokhandwala Complex Environment Action Group.

She stands for the cause of jackals (who have been witnessed in the area), eating from garbage dumps, which is unhealthy for them.

The survival of these animals, besides the original aim of a 'green and clean Mumbai' will be dealt with by this group. The actress will make use of her celebrity status to further their aims.

Yesudas' son gives his first concert

Legendary singer Yesudas' son Vijay, along with playback singer Jayachandran and his son Dinanath, gave their first concert in Mumbai to celebrate the Malayalam New Year called Vishu.

The evening belonged to Vijay, as he started with the Oppena, a traditional Muslim song by Yesudas. Next, he sang his popular song Iniyenthu nalkanam from the film Life is Beautiful. The youngster not only sang his and his father's songs but also the Hindi number You are my sonia from Kabhi Khushi Khabie Gham.

Jayachandran sang his popular numbers.

Shatrugan Sinha changes name

Shatrugan Sinha Actor and politician Shatrugan Sinha had the Parliament in splits recently when he described himself as 'Shatrughan Prasad Yadav' while taking oath. He even pointed at ex-Chief Minister of Bihar Laloo Prasad Yadav.

Yadav, sitting in the front row, in turn, smiled and waved at Sinha, appreciating his gesture.

Later, Sinha pretended to correct his mistake by saying 'Shatrughan Prasad Sinha', once again evoking laughter.
