Ash dances to Sunny's tunes

Aishwarya Rai , we hear has consented to do two item numbers in Sunny Deol's 23rd March 1931 Shaheed and Boney Kapoor's Shakti, which stars Karisma Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and Nana Patekar.

This certainly comes as a surprise, as Rai always maintained that she wasn't keen to appear in films for the special song and dance sequence. She had even turned down Raj Kumar Santoshi's Lajja.

Ruby completes Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon shoot

Former Channel [V] veejay, Ruby Bhatia has recently completed a two week schedule for Rajshri Films, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon.

The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan. Ruby Bhatia plays herself -- a television hostess, and has Javed Jaffery for company.

The going is good for Anupam Kher

Bend It Like Beckham has now won Anupam Kher rave reviews.

Anupam who was in London to attend the high-profile premier of his first international project is also directing his maiden venture Om Jai Jagdish.

Gurinder Chadha, who incidentally was to direct Sunny Deol's home production London directs Bend It Like Beckham which has Kher play the role of a sardar from Nairobi, who is also a father of teenager girls
