Keeping Company -- Ramu and Aamir settle differences
Director Ram Gopal Varma and actor Aamir Khan have decided to put the past behind them and settle their differences. Aamir and Varma patched up after six years. The two had a falling out during the making of Rangeela when Varma criticised Khan for his obsession for perfection. Meanwhile, Aamir's proposed film Happy Diwali with AB Corp has been scrapped. Director Mansoor Khan is working on a fresh script which will be produced under the AB Corp banner and shooting is expected to commence in June 2002.
Raakhee plays Ash's mom
The film stars Raakhee who plays Aishwarya Rai's mother. Raakhee was chosen because Aishwarya's real-life mom, Brinda Rai, who has penned the story, felt she resembled Aishwarya the most.
Aankhen stumbles at the UK BO
Despite a great start at the Indian BO, Aankhen's collections have begun to fall. The Amitabh Bachchan starrer was expected to enter the UK Top 15 this week, but unfortunately didn't make it into the British charts due to strong Hollywood competition.
