Lata turns 72!

Lata Lata Mangeshkar turns 72 today.

The Nightingale of India who was awarded the Bharat Ratna earlier this year has just completed recording for the Yash Chopra produced Mujse Dosti Karoge.

The song was composed by noted musician Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma's son Rahul.

Vikaas Kalantri -- Star in the making

Vikaas Rookie Vikaas Kalantri is raring to go with Pyaar Zindagi Hai which hits theatres next week.

The son of a prominent industrialist, Vikaas says he took to acting because he was addicted to films. He's seen Sholay and Andaz Apna Apna over 30 times.

The young lad has been taking Urdu classes, dance and fight and acting classes at the Kishore Namit institute.

Sunny's Indian

Sunny Rumours have it that Sunny Deol's next, Indian has been discreetly 'updated' with special effects scenes that recreate the recent terrorist attacks in the US. Even the villain's name was supposedly being changed to Osama Khan.

But Mukesh Rishi, who plays the controversial character quashed rumours and said that his character's name would remain Waaseem Khan.

Sunny Deol plays a police-officer who confronts the terrorist suicide-squads in the flick which is a 'remake' of a super-hit Tamil movie Vallarasan.

Producer arrested for duping models

The police have arrested producer Nandu Gopladas Tolani for duping models in Bombay, Hyderabad, Madras and Bangalore.

Tolani had contacted models in the various cities and had offered them roles in music album which was to have been released in July.
