Hrithik is turning green

Superstar Hrithik Roshan is urging the children of Bombay to plant more trees.

Addressing the audience at a tree plantation programme at Bhandup in North Bombay on September 18, 2001 the Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai star urged the youth to take a more active part in tree plantation programmes.

Bombay city mayor Hareshwar Patil said that Hrithik Roshan's involvement in the mass tree plantation programme, where nearly 750 saplings were planted, would definitely inspire the youth to grow more trees.

Adnan Sami weds Dubai girl

Indi-pop singer Adnan Sami, who shot to fame with his song Lift kara de, has tied the knot to Safa Galadhari, a resident of Dubai.

Sami’s secretary Rakesh Nath said the wedding was solemnised at the bride’s palatial mansion.

Ajnabee, which features the Sami song -- Mehbooba mehbooba, opens this Friday.

Hrithik and Hariprasad Chaurasia felicitated

Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and Hrithik Roshan were among those felicitated by Union Minister Arun Jaitley on behalf of Giants International.

The ceremony was held on the 29th anniversary of the organisation on September 17, 2001.

Ajnabee promotions

The filmmakers of Ajnabee have tied up with Indiatimes to promote the film.

Bipasha Basu who stars in the film unveiled the Archies Ajnabee merchandise with Indiatimes branding on September 18, 2001.

The merchandise will be sold as part of the promotion strategy for the film.
