Southern Spice in Bombay

Southern Spice Southern Spice -- a music channel featuring music from the south, was launched with much fanfare in Bombay, on September 14.

The channel's content will include film music from the Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu film industry. English music will also be featured on the channel.

With programmes like Reach Out, Southfull, FIR, Dupelikate and Say to Play and a host of young VJs the channel hopes to strike a chord with teenyboppers.

The channel already has a strong following in Madras.

The launch in Bombay featured performances by Daksha Seth and her Dance Company, Singers Sooraj and Abbey.

281 trailers for K3G

Karan Johar is going all out to promote Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

After the launch of the K3G teaser soundtrack, which has different versions of the title song sung by various singers, we hear that he's making 281 trailers of the film, to woo the audiences.

Court prohibits cable screening of KKMJNB

The Delhi High Court recently prohibited cable operators from telecasting the soon to be released Kyonki Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta on their channels and directed the police to ensure implementation of the court's orders.

It held that the commercial success of the film would be affected unless operators are restrained from showing the film. The film, directed by David Dhawan, stars Govinda, Sushmita Sen and Rambha in the leads.
