The word is out on Asoka and K3G

Asoka For the first time in India, books on the making of a film are to be published. The making of Shah Rukh Khan's Asoka, written by Mushtaq Shiekh, will be the first of it's kind to be in India. It will be published by Harper & Collins.

The making of Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham by Niranjan Iyengar has also been documented.

Both promise to be informative and entertaining coffee table books with meticulous reports on how the films were made.

Sheer divine intervention keeps actress Rituparna Sengupta alive

Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta escaped death miraculously in New York. She was to be aboard the ill-fated American Airlines' Flight 757 that crashed into the World Trade Centre on September 11.

But she cancelled her trip at the last minute. Sengupta said that divine intervention that had kept her alive. The acclaimed actress has won several national awards.

Preity and Vishal for Bhagat Singh?

Preity Zinta Veteran actor-director Manoj Kumar who played Bhagat Singh in the National Award winning film by Kewal Kashyap in 1965 is now all set to revive the saga of the Indian martyr. Kashyap directs this version too.

Manoj's son Vishal Goswami will Singh in the big-budget Bhagat Singh-the Shaheed.

Insiders say that Preity Zinta has be chosen as the female lead for the film.

Saif Ali Khan After having mastered the art of playing the guitar, which he learnt during DCH, Saif Ali Khan is now busy learning to play the tabla.
