Na Tum Jano Na Hum -- Running around threes
Na Tum Jano Na Hum, was a line from the Hrithik Roshan's debut film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. It is also the title of his latest film. The star was on location with Esha Deol and Saif Ali Khan for in New Delhi. it may be recalled that decades ago, Rakesh Roshan and Hema Malini had paired off on the silver screen. Hrithik, who is still highly popular despite the debacle of Yaadein, was seen keeping a low profile on the sets. Saif plays Akshay the third angle in the love story.
Ekta's Kutumb to hit the screens Kutumb, Ekta Kapoor's baby is to be telecast on Sony Television from October 29 replacing Kahi Diya Jale Kahi Jiya. Speaking at a function to announce the show, Ekta said the relationship between the protagonists in Kutumb was different from her other shows because Kutumb dealt with hate in a family background, and the reaction of the family to the hatred between two children.
Bombay's new multiplex Good news, fellow cine buffs! The Adlabs multiplex, opens this Friday in Wadala, Bombay. Apart from the IMAX dome, which is now screening four IMAX films, the multiplex will have four other halls for screening regular films. With comfortable stadium style seating, drink holders, the latest sound and projection equipment and at prices at Rs 80 and Rs 100 per ticket, going to the movies will be a whole new experience. The multiplex will also play host to the MAMI film festival.
Bollywood -- goes to London
Featuring hundreds of photographs, Bollywood, tracks the dramatic growth of the industry. The 355-page book, to be sold in Britain, United States and the Gulf, is priced at a hefty price tag of 29.95 pounds while a special velvet-slip case edition costs 20 quid more. There are no plans to release it in India. From Prithviraj Kapoor, Meena Kumari, Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit to Hrithik Roshan and Kariena Kapoor, the book profiles it all. The book features tantalising tidbits about legends like the sensuous singing star Noor Jehan who taught one of India's greatest singers Lata Mangeshkar the technique of bringing agelessness into one's voice.
