Indian -- A film with a social conscience
Sunny Deol is all set for the release of his new flick Indian. He says like Gadar, Indian is a film with a social conscience and a touch of patriotism. He said that it represented the trauma of every being who believed that he was, above all else, an Indian. The film has a contemporary feel to it. Despite having achieved independence from foreign rule, Sunny feels that we still have to combat terrorism in the country. A remake of a massive South Indian blockbuster, Indian has been scripted and directed by N Maharajan. Though the film has Deol written all over it, it is also an important film for co-star Shilpa Shetty. She is Anjali, Sunny's wife whose life revolves entirely around her family. Indian boasts of an edge-of-the-seat finale and it will also have some skillfully executed special effects.
