Big B, Little B and the family vehicle
From Parker pens to Pepsi, Amitabh Bachchan has endorsed them all. And son Abhishek has now jumped on to the bandwagon. We mean that literally, for the father-son duo have been signed on to endorse Maruti's latest multi-purpose family vehicle, Varsha. Abhishek was coaxed into making his 'commercial' debut that will be shot by acclaimed Hindi film director Mansoor Khan. The commercial will be telecast during the coming festive season.
Kajol's li'l sis is moving on up Tanisha, Kajol's sibling is hot property right now. She's bagged yet another meaty role after her launch with the Yashraj Banner. The project in question is the Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam's Alai Payuthey. The film also stars newcomer Vivek who is making his debut in Ram Gopal Varma's Road.
Shahji Karun selected to represent India The Coalition for Cultural Diversity in Moving Images (CDMI) in Seoul, Korea will be making documentaries on Identity of Asian Films in India, Iran, Thailand, China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea. From India the honour to make the film has been bagged by Shahji Karun who was recommended by Ji-Seok. Can't stop raving about Om Jai Jagdish
Anupam Kher's Om Jai Jagdish has got the industry excited. Its leads Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahima Chaudhry, Urmila Matondkar and Diya Mirza are believed to have outdone themselves. And debutant director Anupam Kher is as pleased as punch. Om Jai Jagdish tells of three brothers and the problems faced by the three who live under the same roof.
