Karan Johar was the only film personality present at the special preview of the film's sings from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham that was held in Bombay at the Taj Hotel on Tuesday 9, 2001.

Speaking at the occasion the director commented on how well the unit got along. He also said that his favourite track was the title song sung by Lata Mangeshkar. He said that he was extremely honoured that she chose to be part of his creative space.

Bombay International Film Festival from November 21

Over 100 movies will be screened at the fourth Bombay International Film Festival, to be held from November 21 to 28.

The festival will be inaugurated on November 21 and will have films from over 32 countries.

The main venue for the festival would be the IMAX multiplex and there will be five shows every day. Screenings for the media and the delegates will be held at the Tata theatre.

College students above 18 years of age would be given concessions in tickets in order to expose them to quality cinema.

Juhi and Pritish Nandy team up

Juhi Chawla hopes to make her comeback with the soon-to-be-released Aamdani Aathani Kharcha Rupaiya directed by Raghavendra Rao co-starring Govinda and Tabu.

The lady also has Priyadarshan's Kashmakash, a murder mystery with Sunil Shetty and Pooja Batra and Tanuja Chandra's next film in store.

Recently, she also signed on Pritish Nandy's film that stars Shyam Munshi, Sanjay Suri and Rahul Bose. The film deals with the story of a married couple to be played by Juhi and Sanjay.

Amjad Ali Khan turns 56

Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan turned 56 on October 9. He spent the day praying for peace in the backdrop of the US strike against Afghanistan.

The maestro ruled out any celebrations on his birthday. Born on October 9, 1945, Ali is the son and disciple of Hafiz Ali Khan and hails from a family of distinguished musicians who invented the sarod, the present day modification of the ancient rabab.
