After Amitabh Bachchan, his reel heroine, Rekha, will seen on Star Plus as the host of a game show based on You Are The Weakest Link. The show will be produced by Synergy, which is run by Sidhaarth Basu.

You Are The Weakest Link is hosted by Annie Robinson on BBC. A group of strangers form a team to play, but only one can take home the money.

One hears that the show is likely to replace Kaun Banega Crorepati? which goes off the air from December 31.

Jackie plays Subhash Chandra Bose

Jackie Shroff has decided to produce and star in a historical based on Subhash Chandra Bose.

“The film will be directed by Abhijeet Dutt. At present we are working on the script and also negotiating with the family of Subhash Chandra Bose. We need their permission before we begin the film.” Jackie informs.

Meanwhile, we hear that Raj Babbar is also making a film on the same subject and will play the lead.

Sunny and Bobby Deol star in another patriotic film titled Bhagat Singh, which sees them together after Dillagi. Bobby Deol plays Bhagat Singh and Sunny will be Chandrashekhar Azad.

Rajkumar Santoshi too is making a Bhagat Singh but he intends to take on an entirely new starcast.

Tabu plays Aai

Tabu is likely to play Aai in Mahesh Manjrekar’s next film.

Manjrekar had earlier contemplated casting Rekha as Aai in his film. But, it is learnt that Mahesh Manjrekar has had a change of heart after he saw Tabu’s performance in Chandni Bar.
