Subhash Ghai sticks with Anu Malik
Subhash Ghai has decided to retain Anu Malik as its music director for its next two productions. These will be directed by Satish Kaushik and David Dhawan. Ghai denied rumours that he has signed Adnan Sami to compose for him. Ghai is extremely pleased with Anu's performance with Yaadein. He said with the music of Yaadein, the biggest challenge was that of emulating Taal. He said he wanted at least one great melody, which he found in the title song, which would live forever. Bad luck for Lucky Ali
Aditya is most eager on roping in Aamir Khan for his movie. Though the cast is still undecided, shooting for Tapori will begin soon. A first for Nandita Das
After working in English, Bengali, Malayalam, Gujarati and Hindi she heads southward with Udaykumar's Azhagi. Udaykumar will be making his debut as producer himself, with this film.
Colonial Cousins to compose for Hindi flicks
Although they had offers aplenty before, they turned them down because they were apprehensive about the result. As Hindi film songs require music to fit into the narrative and capture emotions Hari and Lezz wondered if they could live up to expectations. It's time they finally realised they do.
