Mum's the word for Madhuri!

Madhuri Dixit Madhuri Dixit has agreed to play mother to Uday Chopra in Yash Raj's forthcoming venture that has Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.

Of course, Amitabh will play Uday's father in the film. The times are a-changing for the Ek Do Teen girl.

The making of Aks

Aks The production team for Aks has worked hard on the production design and the look and feel of the movie.

They spent three months researching the kind of make-up that would be ideal for Amitabh, Manoj and Raveena. There were several trials conducted on the computer before the final look was decided upon. And six months prior to the actual shoot, Sameer Chandra - the Art Director had the drawings and every other microscopic detail for the sets ready.

From the film's rushes, we can see their efforts have paid off.

Kareena and Abhishek -- Together once more

Kareena Kapoor Though they didn't make it big with Refugee Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor will be paired together yet again in Boney Kapoor's next venture, a remake of southern hit Khushi.

Kareena has already established herself as an actress with the success of Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, while Bachchan Jr still hasn't been a runaway success.

Sarika can walk again

Sarika Haasan

Kamal Haasan's wife -- Sarika is on the road to recovery. The operations to her spine were successful and she is walking again. She had incurred spinal fractures when she toppled off the balcony of her house in Madras, and was flown to Bombay's Lilavati hospital for the surgery.

The actor was overjoyed when his wife managed to walk her first few steps, after two weeks from the time so her fall.

Aamir's next project

Aamir Khan After Lagaan Aamir's next will be is an ABC produced film.

Directed by Mansoor Khan and presented by Jhamu Sughand, it will also star Ghulam co-star Rani Mukherjee. Tentatively titled Happy Diwali, the film is expected to release in Diwali next year.
