Karan signs SRK, Kareena and Rani for next

Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherjee have been signed by Karan Johar for his next home production.

This film will be directed by Nikhil Advani. Titled Saathiya, the film is likely to go on floor in January, 2002.

John Matthew Mathan decides on Akshay Kumar

John Matthew Mathan has decided to make a quick film with Akshay Kumar. The Sarfarosh director is still keen to do a film with Aamir Khan and also has his script ready.

Aamir is however busy promoting Lagaan and will soon start on Mansoor Khan's film to be produced by AB Corp.

Ashutosh and Aamir -- Together again

Ashutosh Gowariker has begun on his second script after Lagaan.

Gowariker who is working on his first draft of the still does not find Aamir Khan fitting into it. "It's just the first draft, there are a many that will follow, let's see how it goes,' Gowariker informs.

Ashutosh and Aamir will leave for the US in January for the re-release of Lagaan.

Will Pitaah affect K3G's success?

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham does not have an repeat value and the drop in its BO collections verifies this fact.

K3G had the highest opening at the BO in 2001 but it couldn't sustain its momentum.

Trade pundits predict that the collections will be affected with the release of the Sanjay Dutt starrer Pitaah releasing this week.
