Amitabh and Sachin together in a Pepsi commercial

Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar will soon be seen starring together in a Pepsi commercial. The ad-film will be directed by It Prakhad Kakkar.

It may be noted that Sachin has also shot a Pepsi campaign with Shah Rukh Khan.

Benegal approaches Ash

Shyam Benegal has approached Aishwarya Rai for his new film which stars Madhavan. Karisma has also been signed for the film, but it is learnt there are a few date problems.

Benegal had earlier approached Govinda for Madhavan's part. Govinda, however turned down the offer as he felt Benegal was offering him a commercial subject he didn't want to do.

2001 has seen the actor only in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, which was a damp squib at the BO. Here's wishing that the new year brings this Khan glad tidings.

Govinda lashes out at critics

Govinda is rather upset about the unflattering critics reaction to his latest release Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya. The actor claims that contrary to media reports, the film is doing well at the box-office.

An irate Govinda said that the problem was that there are no critics for critics.

Irrespective of the personal opinions, however, the final verdict will be determined by the audiences. And for now, it's too early to tell.
