Tara Sharma replaces Diya Mirza in Om Jai Jagdish

Diya Mirza has been replaced by Tara Sharma in Vashu Bhagnani's Om Jai Jagdish. For reasons yet unknown, we hear that Vashu will be reshooting Diya's part.

Tara Sharma, the latest Liril girl had dropped out of the Tusshar Kapoor starrer Yeh Dil after shooting for five days in Hyderabad as the director felt that she didn't suit the part of a middle class girl.

Tara had also earlier walked out Feroz Khan's home production Jaanenasheen.

Sandeep out of Sandhya

We hear that music composer Sandeep Chowta (of Jungle fame) has been ousted from Jackie Shroff's home production Sandhya.

It is believed that Chowta will be replaced by Anand Raaj Anand. Anand won acclaim for the music of Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai.

Mahima and Leander to wed soon

Following in the footsteps of Kajol, Twinkle and Juhi, Mahima Chaudhry is slated to tie the knot in the first quarter of 2002.

Inspired by his tennis partner, Mahesh Bhupathi, who recently got engaged to Svetha Jaishankar, Leander Paes is preparing for D-day as well. The tennis hero mentioned that he was thrilled to be in love and that wedding bells would toll soon.

K3G most successful Indian film in Britian

Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham has become the most successful Indian film to be screened in Britain.

It was placed third among the top 10, behind Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and 51st State.

This is the first time a Bollywood film has reached number three position at the British BO. Screened at 41 cinema halls, the film has earned close to half a million pounds in its first week since its release.

Cinema halls in London are still house full for a week in advance or even more for some halls. At one cinema hall in Harrow in north London, all tickets are sold out for the next two weekends.
